Kid Sense

Is it just me or do kids have extra senses? It seems like every time I'm up late, for whatever reason, one or both of my kids wake up in the middle of the night or very early the next morning. Then, I'm left feeling like 'zombie mom' the next day, totally regretting the extra time I spent up the night before--and they don't even seem the worse for wear.
